“ Rich morning light floods through the large windows of this location within the S&W, bathing the space with a warmth mirrored by the gracious staff. Flour keeps the menu relatively small to ensure that every item gets loving attention, and pretty much everything is made in house, ensuring utmost freshness. My broccolini, egg and cheese sandwich was outstanding, from the molten, succulent fontina to the crazy-good, otherworldly biscuit. Pro tip: for an easier-eating sando, next time I’ll get the broccolini on the side. ”
“ I walked in kind of timidly. The line was wrapped around the corner inside. I wondered- is this going to be worth it? It’s just a food hall stall. I was really craving a coffee, and I’m really particular about it, will it even be good? We waited about 30 mins in a line that started to round around the back wall. There’s only two guys to take orders, make drinks and assemble sandwiches. The person before us got the last chocolate pistachio cookie and the sign was removed. We were devastated!! But, we were feeling lucky so we asked the cashier and the sandwich assembling guy pulled out a fresh tray!! They were heavenly. I love iced lattes. Theirs comes in 16oz with two shots. Available in vanilla, brown sugar cinnamon, and mocha. All housemade. I tried the mocha and brown sugar cinnamon. Both delicious. I’d probably order half sweet next time but it isn’t sickeningly sweet and you can taste the coffee. The mocha has a slight bitterness that I love in mochas. Now, what I really came for. When looking for breakfast on maps, the biscuits immediately caught my eye. Perfectly golden brown, thick and piled high with egg, bacon and cheese. It came out looking just like the pictures and still exceeded my expectations. Made to order, it came out hot, fresh, in a generous portion that could easily be spilt by two with small appetites. Flour is definitely worth the hype. It’s worth the wait in line. The coffee is amazing, the biscuits are heavenly, the cookies are addicting. I’m coming back each time I’m in town. ”
“ The Italian sandwich and their pizza both on Focaccia bread were incredible! The pizza was a bit small to share, but taste was so on point. There is also breakfast / coffee served at FLOUR. Two different counters in the building, FYI. Next time, we will try the famous bacon, egg, and cheese! ”
“ Yes. I did hit 3 coffee shops this morning on my solo coffee tour lol. I went to Flour first and ordered an iced vanilla bean latte with whole milk. Wow, this was delicious. I sat outside and enjoyed this way too fast. The espresso was strong and the vanilla bean syrup was not overly sweet (I asked for less sweet). Next time I will definitely try the deliciously looking biscuits. Also the barista at the counter was super friendly. I was greeted with, “hi friend!”. I’ll be back! ”
“ The PERFECT start to my week. Yep, I’m here seven days a week for coffee and the occasional bacon egg and cheese biscuit, and a pistachio cookie......(ok three cookies). Today was no different than the other days of the week. The drip coffee (personal favorite) is (to me) a perfect blend of a medium-dark full bodied blend that sets the tone for my day. Usually I will add a tablespoon or 1/2 tablespoon for sugar in the raw, and wait until I’m seated at my desk. Then I close my eyes and take the first sip......and smile at the consistency, the taste, the and how privileged to be able to support a local small business owner(s). Depending on how much I hate my job that day, I’ll come back for another cup of cookie, and if I’m lucky a pistachio cookie. I will have a bacon egg and cheese biscuit normally on Sundays as I typically skip traditional breakfast during the week in favor of a homemade shake. The biscuit today and always is buttery, crunchy, and intimidating (in a good way). I never bother to eat it all in one sitting. I always cut it in half and wrap the other half to be reheated (in the oven about 350 for 7-10 minutes). THE OWNERS: Enough about the great coffee, biscuits, and cookies. I’ve often asked myself why do I always return to Flour. It’s more than the food, it’s the people. The owners are just as consistent as the drinks and food they prepare daily. I’m not just a transaction. I’m appreciated, I feel the love, and I hope and pray years of success for my “brothers from another.” Finally, there is a stamp card to accumulate for free cookie, but love this place so much I feel guilty about redeeming them so I normally just keep them in my wallet LOL. ”
“ First time inside this food hall. Really cool inside no doubt. We ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and it was amazing. The biscuit was unreal by itself. Have to say prolly one of the best biscuits sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommended ”
“ Just the best people making the best biscuit sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to get back the Asheville to try some focaccia as well. This is a must try if you are in town. They serve some amazing coffee as well. ”
“ Obsessed with all of it! The texture of the bacon egg n cheese biscuit is unreal. Safe to say it’s the best biscuit I’ve ever had. Friendly service and stellar branding and design. The entire food hall was all done very well. It’s a must go! ”
